Musical icon Beyoncé took the stage during the Ravens vs. Texans halftime to perform what she called “A Cowboy Carter Christmas.” The halftime show has sparked a divide as many have gone on to praise the singer for one of the best halftime performances while others believe she made an inappropriate hand gesture that failed to respect the game of football.

Beyoncé brought up Shaboozey, Post Malone, and other country singers Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Reyna Roberts, and Tiera Kennedy during her performance in her hometown of Houston, Texas. She danced with her 12 year old daughter, Blue Ivy, that captured the attention of many. Many were quick to react online that this performance was top tier Beyoncé and absolute perfection. This is setting expectations high for Kendrick Lamar's halftime performance at the Super Bowl in February.

Others are still held up on one specific moment during the performance. When Beyoncé finished “Texas Hold ‘Em,” she made a finger-fun gesture with her left hand and the words BANG appeared underneath the platform that was carrying her. The gun gesture is actually banned in the NFL and results in a 15-yard penalty. Many are led to believe that Beyoncé will be fined for her hand gesture. See the social remarks below by many who are trying to figure out whether the 32 time Grammy award winner is going to be fined.
Barstool Sports president Dave Portnoy argued that Beyoncé has been "lost" for year which received wavering support from Barstool and Portnoy supporters. It is no secret that Portnoy has been a bigger fan of Rihanna over Beyoncé in the past and perhaps this remark is to further shake things up on the internet. After all, he does run a media company?!!
