America’s version of a “royal wedding” is approaching fast. According to rumors, pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL tight end Travis Kelce are preparing for a “wedding-palooza” Friday at Madison Square Garden.
Fueling the speculation, New York City Hall recently confirmed to The Post that a permit application was filed for July 2-4 requesting street closures around MSG. Page Six also confirmed that there is a permit for an event for 100 people Thursday. A source claimed the more intimate gathering is a rehearsal dinner.

A few sources who received an invitation via text and email have spoken out about the upcoming bash. They alleged that the invitation arrived with an NDA and that the guest list features more than 1,000 people.
The large list of attendees is being revealed little by little, and it includes a slew of Hollywood and Nashville’s biggest stars. A Nashville source has claimed that there will be “multiple performances” at the Friday event. A source recently told Page Six that both Tim McGraw and Stevie Nicks will perform at the event, and fans have pointed out Easter eggs regarding the alleged performers, including the fact that Swift’s first Billboard hit was titled “Tim McGraw,” as well as her recent appearance at Game 4 of the NBA Finals in a “Stevie Nicks” shirt.
One music source claimed that Kelsea Ballerini is “definitely going,” while speculation surrounding Kenny Chesney’s attendance continues to grow after he recently canceled his July 3 and 4 shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Rumors of Dierks Bentley and members of Little Big Town and Sugarland are also floating around, but they have not been confirmed.
Though the big day is approaching fast, Swift has not ducked out of the spotlight. The singer, whose career began in Music City when she was just 14 years old, joined Lainey Wilson onstage last week for a surprise duet of “Love Story” during her fiancé’s Tight End University event in Nashville.

She also surprised fans during Alan Jackson’s “Last Call: One More for the Road — The Finale” in Nashville over the weekend with a heartfelt video message for Jackson.
“I appreciate you so much for the ways that you have just treated me and the other artists and writers with such support and encouragement over the years,” Swift said in the video. “And I am so excited for your show.”
Though she expressed her love for Jackson in the video, Swift was met with a mix of reactions. A large number of boos drowned out a majority of her message, leaving fans with mixed reactions following the show after the moment went viral. Neither Swift nor Jackson has spoken publicly about the incident.
Despite the brief moment of misfortune, the singer moved swiftly past the incident, and wedding prep appears to be full steam ahead for the couple.
