The ACM Honors is an annual event that shines a spotlight on the behind-the-scenes excellence and lifetime achievements that shape country music. Established in 2006, ACM Honors was created to recognize recipients of the Academy’s Special Awards —honors typically not given during the ACM Awards broadcast. Traditionally held at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, this year's show has a new home and will take place at The Pinnacle, Nashville's newest venue.

On August 20th, the 2025 ACM Honors promises to be one of the most memorable yet. With a star-studded lineup, the ceremony will include tributes to icons such as Randy Travis, Eric Church and groundbreaking producers, as well as legends in the making like Lainey Wilson.

The evening will be hosted by Carly Pearce and Russell Dickerson, who bring the perfect mix of heartfelt warmth and playful humor to the stage.

Surprise guests are a signature element of the show, keeping fans and honorees on their toes. Past years have seen unexpected collaborations and emotional reunions, making each ceremony feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

What makes ACM Honors truly unique is the way artists pay tribute to one another through heartfelt performances. Whether it’s a young country star covering a classic hit or a legendary artist sharing stories and songs in honor of a peer, the show thrives on its sincerity and deep respect for artistry. These moments—often filled with raw emotion—create a powerful connection between artists and fans alike. More than just an awards show, the ACM Honors are a love letter to country music’s past, present, and future, and a reminder of the strong community at its heart.
