Arkansas native and Grammy winner, Ashley McBryde, has announced the release of her fifth studio album, Wild, this May. We could not be more excited to see what has taken the last three years to create and perfect alongside fellow musician and producer, John Osborne, who co-produced her third studio album, Lindeville.

Wild serves as the follow-up to McBryde’s 2023 studio album, The Devil I Know, which was conceptualized around introspection and experiences on the road. This album seems to come from a place of less confinement, as McBryde describes it as “the part that still believes in those unrealized dreams and untaken risks.” McBryde elaborates, “I believe that wild little kid is still alive inside of all of us, and that’s the version of everyone that I want to sing to.”
The new album is set to include her recent singles, “What If We Don’t,” “Rattlesnake Preacher,” and “Arkansas Mud.” A new single is anticipated for this Friday, titled “Bottle Tells Me So.” McBryde has been having some of her biggest first weeks upon release of a single, with adds on seventy-five stations and various chart placements.

“Wild is the name. That’s the spirit of the record,” says the five-time CMA winner, “The fear, the chaos, the hard truths, and the little kid in me who always kept dreaming big.” This sounds like Ashley McBryde’s most personal and intrinsic release yet, and we, as fans, can’t wait to find the beauty in it through our own experiences and untamed lives.
In reference to her work ethic and approach to creating this album, Osborne refers to McBryde as a “rare gem.” Anticipation for this album is rising as we learn more about it. We couldn’t be more thankful that the release is less than two months away.
Hear Ashley McBryde’s new authentically encapsulating and free-spirited album, Wild, out this
May.
