Less than a week ago, we lost Brad Arnold of the band, 3 Doors Down. He had a lasting impact on music across several genres, including his post-grunge counterparts and his companions in country music. Many artists are now reflecting on the beautiful memories made with the performer and sharing them with the world.

Fellow bandmates have praised the impact Arnold had on their life. “I live a better life on this planet because of him,” shares guitarist Chris Henderson, “Brad was who people should strive to be.” Drummer, Greg Upchurch, says, “He made me a better person. He was someone who inspired me.”

Fellow rockers in Shinedown, Creed, Poison, Three Days Grace, Seether, and more have all paid their respects too. “He will forever be the definition of a real one,” says Shinedown frontman, Brent Smith, “May your light shine through all of time, and space forever.” Creed and Alter Bridge guitarist, Mark Tremonti, recalls, “We toured together for decades and must have shared hundreds of stages. [Brad] I’m going to miss you and all the great moments we shared.”

Country music showed its appreciation, too, for the friendship and impact he gave. Tracy

Lawrence reflects, “Those are memories I will always treasure. You truly left your mark, my friend.” Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts shares, “[Brad] and I wrote together several times, and there wasn’t a nicer human being, not to mention immensely talented... Rest easy, my friend, you’re home now.”

The singer was forty-seven when cancer took his life on February 7th. He will be remembered by artists and fans for the music and memories he gave us, absolutely chilling rock classics like “Kryptonite,” “Here Without You,” and “When I’m Gone,” as well as his reflective solo artistry.

Remember, late 3 Doors Down vocalist, Brad Arnold, and the tribute artists are continuing to share.
