Country artists are leading the charge this year, filling playlists with twang, heart, and plenty of holly jolly spirit. From new festive releases to timeless classics, the sound of sleigh bells and steel guitars is taking over radio waves and streaming charts alike. Fans are already decking the halls to the sounds of their favorite Nashville voices, proving once again that no one does Christmas quite like country music.

It’s been especially fun watching so many country stars jump into the Christmas spirit with new releases this season. Artists like Lainey Wilson, Kane Brown, and Scotty McCreery are putting their own spin on holiday favorites, while legends such as Reba McEntire and George Strait continue to remind us why their versions have stood the test of time. Not to mention, Brett Eldredge has become a staple of modern Christmas music, often dubbed “Mr. Christmas” for his smooth vocals and timeless holiday style. His annual Glow album and holiday tours have revived classic Christmas charm, blending Sinatra-esque sophistication with country warmth. There’s something about the warmth and storytelling in country music that makes it the perfect match for holiday tunes.

Fresh off a teaser posted to social media, country music star Ella Langley is joining forces with country icon Luke Bryan for what appears to be a holiday duet. Fans are already buzzing about the upcoming Christmas-themed track they’re dropping together.

Meanwhile, Dylan Scott has revealed his heartwarming song titled “Two Christmas Trees”, which he says has a special backstory: a song his dad started 40 years ago in the ’80s that Dylan has now completed and is releasing this Friday.

With these announcements, the country world is setting the tone for a merry country filled holiday soundtrack.

Of course, no Christmas season is complete without the all-time greats. “Hard Candy Christmas” by Dolly Parton, “Christmas in Dixie” by Alabama, “Let It Be Christmas” by Alan Jackson, and “Pretty Paper” by Willie Nelson are staples that never lose their magic. Add in modern favorites like “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” by Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton or “Hallelujah” by Carrie Underwood and John Legend, and you’ve got the perfect mix for a country Christmas soundtrack. So pour a cup of cocoa, hang your stockings early, and turn up the volume, because country Christmas season is officially in full swing!
