With just about a week before it’s scheduled release, the track list for Ella Langley’s up-coming, sophomore album, Dandelion, has been released. It will feature eighteen tracks, all of which we are sure will be pure country magic just as her past few chart-topping singles have been.

Here are a few things we noticed and are excited about. First of all, the album will feature all of the past few singles we’ve come to love and enjoy, including “Be Her,” “Dandelion,” “Loving Life Again,” and the record-breaking “Choosin’ Texas.” These tracks will occupy various spots in the first half of the album, leaving much to be explored in the second half, including a cover of Kitty Wells’s “It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels.”
With Miranda Lambert serving as a producer for the album, we were only hoping we would get a duet between the two. And just as we’d hoped, this is the case with track sixteen, titled “Butterfly Season.” Our mind continues to wander as to what story the two are waiting to tell on this song.

Lastly, the album will commence and end with the folk song, “Froggy Went A Courtin’,” which makes it sound like this album will have a very classic country theme. Perhaps, this album will be painted with colorful southern imagery and homages to her hometown of Hope Hull, Alabama, or feelings of rural nostalgia.
Overall, we can practically already hear the Grammy buzz for this album, and as of now we can only expect it to take home more gold than its singles already have. And just as the title track suggests, we are excited for this album to be “born to live free, ridin’ on the breeze on a summer night.”
Get excited for Ella Langley’s album, Dandelion, to be released soon with more newly anticipated songs.
