To all of you, Ella’s Fellas, out there, chivalry is key. The record-breaking, CMA-winning Ella Langley doesn’t have any complicated, indirect standards for dates, but there is one big red flag she’s addressing. It’s simple, timeless, and as easy as... well... holding the door open.

When speaking to the press about her anticipated CMA performance and nominations last year, she answered a light-hearted question about her biggest dating red flag. “If he doesn’t hold the door open for a lady... not just the lady you like, but any lady. Hold the dang door open,” says Langley, “Just hold the door. Be nice.” And maybe also don’t be choosin’ Texas, and you should be fine.

Dating rumors have recently begun to stir after the “Dandelion” singer was spotted in the British Virgin Islands with country star Tucker Wetmore. This is the only notable encounter between the two that forms the basis of this theory, and the status has yet to be addressed by either musician. Excited fans can only hope that he is someone who holds the door open for all ladies.

Ella Langley clearly believes chivalry isn’t dead, as her remarks and timeless style would suggest. Perhaps on her upcoming album, Dandelion, Ella’s Fellas will be able to get a better picture of what Langley is looking for in a relationship. The much-anticipated album will be released in less than a month and has already had so many notable, catchy singles released.

“Choosin’ Texas” by Ella Langley recently topped the Billboard Hot 100 for its fourth week (second consecutive) while other tracks like “Be Her” and “Dandelion” have also reached peaks on the upper half of the chart. We are on the edge of our seats for more music and relationship advice to hopefully come in the near future.

Start opening the door for all ladies, fellas.
