It is widely known that acoustic guitars and country music go together like Johnny and June Cash do. From Dolly Parton’s acrylic nail picking to Brothers Osborne’s electrifying guitar solos, guitars are an integral part of the country sound. Gibson, Taylor, Martin, and others create custom guitars for artists, but what guitars rank supreme? Read below to see some gorgeous guitars and their stories.

MEGAN MORONEY
Megan Moroney had a custom guitar made by Daniel Diamonds in Nashville for her show at Stagecoach. The team bedazzled a J-45 Gibson Acoustic guitar with rhinestones and even included a stage setup of more bedazzled guitars for her show.
She also had a custom Gibson painted for her “Lucky” album release that shines more than a pot of gold on St. Patrick's Day.
EMILY ANN ROBERTS
Emily Ann Roberts had her guitar custom painted by Holly E Smith. The painting has a bright colored landscape on the front with the word “Thanks” on the back. She debuted the guitar on her journey on the Voice and continues to dazzle her audience with it today.

WILLIE NELSON

If the name “Trigger” doesn’t ring a bell, you must be new to country music. Willie Nelson doesn’t need rhinestones or bright colors for his guitar to shine. The battered body of his Martin N-20 named “Trigger” tells enough of a story. Trigger was saved from a house fire and also helped Willie pay back the IRS (Long story.. see here).
Nelson even had Buddy Valastro from Cake Boss create a cake replica of his guitar for one of his birthday parties.

MIRANDA LAMBERT
Miranda’s guitar is so well known that Gibson Guitars started selling them to the public. Her “Bluebird” inspired guitar is a Gibson Hummingbird that represents her Texas roots and hit song titled Bluebird.
JAMEY JOHNSON
Jamey Johnson can definitely name drop at a party with his guitar. The Epiphone EJ-200 was bought in 1995 and he calls it “Ole Maple”. Willie Nelson was the first signature on the guitar and some notable people are George Strait, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Neil Young, Emmylou Harris, Don Henley, Kid Rock and more.

Let us know if you’ve seen any other cool guitars onstage.
