Country star Jon Pardi is back with his fifth studio album, Honkytonk Hollywood, a project that boldly bridges his California roots and Nashville wings. Known for his punchy style, Pardi leans into both sides of his musical identity on this record, pairing laid-back West Coast cool with Music City polish. The album’s title itself hints at this unique blend, showcasing the duality of his sound—equal parts Honkytonk grit and Hollywood glam.

Pardi calls Honkytonk Hollywood his “most grownup album” to date, and fans will feel that maturity in tracks like “She Drives Away,” a heartfelt ode to being a girl dad. Jon Pardi and Summer Pardi have two daughters, Presley (2) and Sienna (8 months). Pardi admits that "I can't beat the muffin man... My songs aren't winning with Presley's catalog right now. But with Summer, she loves all the songs and it flip flops what she really likes. She is a big fan of Who I Don't Want To Be and Kinda Wanna Keep It That Way."

While he still knows how to throw a good "Pardi"—there’s no shortage of boot-stomping, beer-raising anthems—there’s a deeper emotional current running through many of the songs. This balance gives the album a compelling emotional range, something longtime fans and new listeners alike can appreciate. Pardi is extremely proud of this album and even said "I made one of my best records."
One thing that hasn’t changed is Pardi’s dedication to great songwriting. He’s never been afraid to let others shine behind the scenes and always lets the best song win. On this album, that approach continues, as he leans into the talent of Nashville’s songwriting community. Rather than insisting on writing every track himself, Pardi opens the door to fresh voices and perspectives, enriching the album’s lyrical depth.
The one demand from Pardi was the songs "don't need to sound like a Morgan Wallen song. A lot of what we get pitched are Morgan Wallen songs."
Honkytonk Hollywood also marks Pardi’s first collaboration with producer Jay Joyce, known for his dynamic and edgy production style. According to Pardi, the partnership worked seamlessly, adding a new creative spark to the record without losing his signature sound. With this new chapter, Pardi proves he can evolve while staying true to the twang that made him a standout in the country music world.
And when asked what he wants to say to his fans about the record, "I would say it's been 2 and a half years without a record. Here's your record!" As always Jon Pardi is too the point, in your face and oh so funny.
