Neyland was at full capacity this weekend with over 150,000 concert goers for two historic performances by Morgan Wallen. The East Tennessee native came fully prepared with his hit song after hit song. But he didn’t stop there…. Wallen called a couple friends to help get the job done!

Wallen kicked off Friday night with company from National Champion Tennessee Volunteers baseball team and Coach Tony Vitello with the trophy in hand. They joined Wallen for his infamous walkout as Neyland erupted with cheers. During the concert, Wallen called on a close friend and the first entertainer he ever saw in concert, Mr. Eric Church. The two shared the stage for a performance of “Quittin’ Time” which Eric helped write.

Two-time Super Bowl champion and former University of Tennessee Knoxville (UTK) quarterback Peyton Manning joined Wallen for his walkout on the second night. Manning’s entourage consisted of UTK football coach Josh Heupel, quarterback Nico Iamaleava, and wide receiver Bru McCoy as their alma mater eagerly welcomed these legends back on their turf.

Wallen had his two close friends and collaborator HARDY and ERNEST open up the show. On Sunday night, Wallen surprised concert goers by welcoming Miranda Lambert to the stage to sing “Thought You Should Know” that she wrote with Wallen and Nicolle Galyon. It didn’t stop there. Moments later, three-time GRAMMY-Award-winner Darius Rucker rushed on stage to sing the Diamond-certified song, “Wagon Wheel,” to a crowd of 75,000.
