The music industry is being reshaped and dominated by the women of country music in just about every respect. Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, Lainey Wilson, Kacey Musgraves, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton, Ashley McBryde... the list goes on. All of which have been changing the game with their artistry, philanthropy, and partnerships.

Currently on the Billboard Hot 100, women in country hold several spots. Ella Langley alone holds four spots, with Megan Moroney, Kacey Musgraves, and Lainey Wilson all holding spots as well. The recent iHeart Radio Awards were also memorable for Ella Langley’s win for Best New Country Artist and further nominations for Lainey Wilson. “Choosin’ Texas” by Ella Langley and co-written by Miranda Lambert also achieved an incredible feat recently after becoming the best-selling song of any genre for 2026 so far.

Lainey Wilson has been very notable in the past few years for her ongoing support for music education and performance opportunities for families and various communities with her “Heart Like a Truck” fund. Tenille Townes has also been notable for her charitable contributions, especially to her hometown of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada, where she has established a youth charity by the name of Sunrise House.

Dolly Parton, who has been embracing sisterhood for years with her Trio members (Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris) or Honky Tonk Angels (Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn), has been in the spotlight recently for her collaboration with the Tennessean truck stop and East Tennessee Children’s Hospital to bring hospitality and new levels of whimsy to various parts of the state. The recent Grammy-nominated track, “Trailblazer,” featuring Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, and Lainey Wilson, is further proof that the sisterhood of country music is still alive and well.

This year, we’ve already been able to enjoy the release of Cloud 9 by Megan Moroney, which has seen incredible success and creative marketing thus far, with $9 concert tickets and Target partnerships. We look forward to what the sisterhood holds in store for us over the next few months with upcoming, much-anticipated albums by Ella Langley, Kacey Musgraves, Ashley McBryde, and more.

Be prepared for the rise of the sisterhood of country music and all the achievements to come.
