On Saturday, July 19th, Thomas Rhett headlined a sold-out show at Fenway Park in Boston with a projected 35,000 fans in attendance. The concert was one of Thomas Rhett’s biggest career milestones, marking him as the first country headliner at Fenway and completing a long-held “bucket list” goal.

The Castellows, Tucker Wetmore and Teddy Swims were support acts, with Teddy Swims joining Rhett onstage for a duet of their song "Somethin' 'Bout A Woman."

The energy at Fenway Park was electric as thousands of fans sang along under the stadium lights, turning the historic ballpark into a massive country music celebration.

Thomas Rhett delivered a heartfelt and high-energy performance, blending party anthems like "Make Me Wanna" and "Boots" with his emotional ballad, "Die a Happy Man". The night closed on a touching note as Rhett shared the stage with his family, creating an unforgettable moment, not to mention earning him the award for dad and husband of the year.

Thomas Rhett wrote a heartfelt post to all of Boston, explaining how much the show meant to him and how much the city means to him.

"Dear Boston.. too many memories to count. Some I remember vividly and some are foggy for reasons I’m sure you can imagine. Pretty sure I have played most every venue this town has to offer. From the house of blues, to my first tour ever opening for Toby Keith at the Xfinity center, to the home of the patriots opening for Kenny Chesney, opened here twice for Jason Aldean. Where I got to witness the masterpiece of a performance by the one and only Kid Rock, to arguably my favorite show ever two years ago at TD garden, and to cap all that off getting to headline here last night along side my brother @teddyswims is something I may never wrap my head around. I’ve drank most of your bars outta beer, ate my weight in lobster rolls, tried but failed every time to get a reservation at Neptune Oyster, threw my guts up on a whale watching tour, and attended my fare share of Red Sox games. Needless to say this place has always been and always will be one of my favorite places to play shows on the planet. Since day one of my career I have dreamed of this moment. I’m so grateful for how much support yall have shown me for over 15 years. So If I said I love you too many times last night, it’s because I’m not sure how to fully express how much this city means to me.

Lastly, knowing that most of my best friends and family were there because they know how big of a deal this is for me is amazing.

Lord willing we will get to do this many more times, but on the off chance we don’t I get to say that my wife and kids watched me headline Fenway park and hopefully that gives me street cred with my grandkids one day!

Much love Boston, TR

Needless to say, the love between Thomas Rhett and Boston, is mutual.
