Tim McGraw is set to make dreams come true this summer as the first-ever artist to perform at the iconic Field of Dreams movie site in Dyersville, Iowa.

The concert, scheduled for August 30, holds deep significance as it marks what would have been the 81st birthday of McGraw’s late father, legendary ballplayer Tug McGraw. The location, famously featured in the 1989 film Field of Dreams, is centered around baseball’s magic, creating a full-circle moment for both fans of the sport and the McGraw family legacy.

The three-time GRAMMY Award winner unveiled the announcement with a captivating Instagram video, building anticipation for the historic event and expressing his excitement for the performance.

The Field of Dreams movie site has welcomed millions of visitors over the past 36 years for a variety of events. Set on a scenic 193-acre farm in Iowa, the site has become a symbol of American culture, drawing visitors from around the world to experience the magic of the 1989 film and honor the cherished tradition of baseball.

Operated by Dyersville Events, Inc., President Nathan Runde emphasizes the importance of this event and his excitement for the occasion.
