Tyler Farr Cancels Festival Set After Severe Concussion From Farm Accident

Country singer Tyler Farr has canceled an upcoming festival performance after suffering a concussion from a motor vehicle accident on his farm.

Country musician Tyler Farr canceled his performance at the Goshen Stampede in Connecticut on Saturday, and it was revealed that he recently suffered a “severe” concussion during a motor vehicle accident on his farm.

Farr, a Missouri native, is best known for songs including “Redneck Crazy,” “Whiskey in My Water” and his 2015 No. 1 Country Airplay hit, “A Guy Walks Into a Bar.” He has released albums including Redneck Crazy and Suffer in Peace and has charted multiple singles on Billboard’s country charts.

Festival officials announced Farr’s cancellation via social media.

“Due to a motor vehicle incident on his farm, Tyler Farr was taken to a local hospital and diagnosed with a severe concussion,” the post read. “Tyler Farr will no longer be able to perform at the Goshen Stampede on June 13, 2026.”

While Farr reposted the announcement on his Instagram Story, he has not yet released a personal statement regarding the incident, and no further details of his injury have been shared.

According to the Goshen Stampede’s post, the New England group David Foster and the All Stars stepped in for Farr’s set on Saturday.

“We wish Tyler a speedy recovery,” the post also read.

Many fans took to the comment section following the announcement. Some demanded refunds or lower ticket prices from the festival, while others expressed their well wishes to Farr and encouraged his recovery.

According to his website, the “Redneck Crazy” singer is still slated to perform at Boots & Brews Country Music Festival in California on Saturday.
